IMG 7733The all-new 2020 KTM 390 Adventure has now arrived in retail shops throughout South Africa, and here are the first one’s we’ve seen in Gauteng, at Radmoto.

With a very competitive base price of only R85,000 they’re surely going to be many seen on our streets. So, if you’re after a brand-new 390 Adventure these guys will assist in everyway, including clothing and KTM’s accessory range, for this new and exciting model.

IMG 7720Bill had a recent visit to Radmoto to buy ‘winter clothing’ and he discovered the 2020 KTM 1290 Super Duke R has arrived and for sale, which is very exciting news indeed, right?

Both colours are here, black and matt orange, and you can see from the images the RC8 derived frame and new exhaust system. Not forgetting the new clocks and electronic package.

Bill managed to go on a ‘necessary’ ride making him the first journalist in South Africa to ride the new 2020 version. He then said, “it’s certainly different and wider around the tank and the new, and bigger, instrument pod is in your face because you’re leant towards them more”. “It also has a smoother power delivery and obviously turns quicker with the new chassis, and just feels more refined in all areas”.IMG 7723All well and good then, and he apologises for the Suzuki MotoGP jacket whilst on a KTM bike, that he seems to wear everyday anyway, even to bed…weirdo…

We will be doing a far more in depth review when we can, of course…

Meanwhile, if you’re ‘buying spares’ for KTM motorbikes, go and admire the new Super Duke R and maybe even get to ‘sit’ on it, if you know what we mean?

IMG 7727The cheerful chaps at The Bike Man motorcycle shop, and Zontes dealer, are now also open for a ‘small’ amount of business to help out with ‘essential’ stuff…

So, if you reside around that area/zone and need help with spares and the like, give them a call to see how they can assist you. Obviously all virus precautions and rules apply, if you choose to visit.
