tricity
Yes, you've read correctly and observed correctly. Yamaha's super-funky Tricity will be on our shores within a couple of months, ready for the forthcoming AMID show.

Basically, it's a 125cc scooter with two independent wheels at the front. If you're wondering if it's any good, wonder no more, because Rossi and Lorenzo have one to use in the paddock area. It won't be as cheap as their 'free' one but we just can't wait to ride it, can you?

Meanwhile, click onto the link below and be amazed what this remarkable little machine can do.

motul forcars 02Yes you’ve read correctly, arguably the best oil for your bike is now available throughout South Africa for automobile applications. So obviously you now want to put it into your car/van/super car/truck, right? Well Bill has….

My treasured and modified Seat Cupra 1.9tdi only gets the best, so when Steve Lurie asked me try out Motul’s new super fancy ‘Le Mans’ racing oil (300V Power 5W-40) I greedily snatched it from his hands. Every bike I own (six of them) all run on Motul of some kind and I’ve won many drag race titles using the stuff as well, so it didn’t take too much convincing to put it into my exciting hyper-diesel.

The 300V Power claims to make more power due to less friction and therefore cooling running (good for turbos) and did I say it’s used in the Le Mans 24-hour – sweet. I also changed the coolant for this puffy pink Ultra ant-freeze, which is full of special additives as well.

Guess what? The car certainly feels quicker and faster, responds better and the combination of both products has definitely made the car run cooler, which equals more power, nice one!

It’s quite remarkable to think an oil and coolant change can have such an effect on a diesel engine, and I thoroughly recommend doing the same to whatever you drive? I’ll never go back to anything else, that’s for sure.
